After the suicide death of their best friend Dwayne Lally, two Aussie blokes from Queensland decided that the stigma surrounding mental illness had to go. Casey Lyons and Sam Webb witnessed firsthand the flow on effect that suicide has and have made it their purpose to challenge the way young people view their own mental health and change the negative perception of mental illness.
After a leadership trip to Africa exposed them to these harsh realities, Chantelle and David realised that for these girls, an education is the key to changing the lives of these children and their families. They founded onegirl.org and embarked on the inspiring mission to educate 1 Million girls across Africa.
In many areas of the world, children can't attend schools if they are unable to afford the required uniform. CYNY runs 90 day campaigns, each supporting a different region in the world and helping to provide the necessary uniforms.
